5Relieves pain when standing all day  Jul 19, 2010 By Sket
I always assumed that the gel insoles were best. I was convinced by a sales clerk at a shoe store that these were the best. I was reluctant to purchase because I figured he worked on commision. But he told me they have a 1 year warranty and I was assured satisfaction. I stand an average of 8 hours a day. The pain on the soles of my feet, knees, and back have been greatly reduced since I started wearing these. They have a thick cushion on the heel area that helps absorb shock.

5The best insoles out there  Dec 01, 2010 By Amazon Shopper 01
Spenco offers a wide variety of shoe insoles, and this particular model is the best if you need maximum cushioning and support. Spenco insoles are hand washable and wear very well. I keep a pair in all my shoes.

5Spenco polysorb heavy duty orthotics for women  Dec 19, 2010 By Inaam J. Schneider
EXellent .Makes any athletic shoes more comfertable . It molds to your feet in a few hours . offers good arch support , especially if you have flat feet . The inserts even in the most expensive athletic shoes are worthless compared to these . love these & have several of thenm . The price is right . the cost at your local drug store is about $17 . Orders over $25 are shipped free .Happy walking or standing for a long time with these in your shoes [ men or women ].

4too thick  Feb 01, 2011 By 2much2do
These inserts are comfortable on the soles of my feet, but are too thick for me to wear with most of my shoes. I like how they feel, but can only wear them in my loosest shoes.

5As a runner, Spencos have been a boon to me  Nov 14, 2010 By Backpacker "Travel Photographer"
These Spencos, as well as the Cross trainer ones, are great for slipping into any shoe: running, working, dress, hiking.

I use them in all of the above. They improve cushioning a 1000%. The heel and arch cushioning are phenomenal.

As a runner, and a one-time college days athletic shoe salesperson, I'm amazed that even expensive running shoes have terrible insoles - thin, poorly cushioned. I drop Spencos in my running shoes, on top of the existing insoles, and am deeply cushioned and injury free while running. Buy athletic shoes a 1/2 size larger if you wish to do what I do. If you take out existing insoles, then buy your regular size shoes.

Great for hiking too. You'll jump from rock to rock over a running creek, as if on a cloud.

Remember to air your shoes every few days of use. Take out the insoles for some air letting.
