Good thickness and lightweight. Clip is sturdy. Fine if you are walking or training a small- medium sized dog. Would not be good if you have chewer and you are not constantly attending the dog. We station our young dog indoors at times for his own safety because he will get into things and swallow objects he should not be swallowing. He has had to have his stomach emptied a couple of times. This gives him a little room to move about and retrieve toys he wants us to throw. Good tool as we work on training him on "not yours!".
