4Great once you get it to stick to your shoe  Aug 14, 2008 By Nance
I bought these gel heel liners for a pair of suede shoes that fit a little too loose in the back. My heel kept slipping out and eventually caused the back of my foot to bleed. I know many people complain about the adhesive not sticking and I also found this to be the case when I first used them, however, I wanted to make this work so I ended up putting a strip of two-sided adhesive tape to it and it has stayed on my shoe beautifully. I no longer have a problem with my heel slipping. Sure, it doesn't look great from the inside, especially with the double-sided tape, but it saved me a pair of shoes! The gel is comfortable and soft but I do want to note that I constantly feel/notice the gel liner--which doesn't really bother me. But for those with sweaty feel or sensitive feet, you may be bothered by the feeling of a gel liner--I guess it's entirely up to the shoe wearer.

5YEA!!!  Jan 26, 2009 By H. Smith "Beautacentric"
I have terrible problems with any kind of shoes from blisters to bleeding excessively (even tennis shoes) talk abt being humiliated on a date! I found these and thought oh it's worth a try, they are quite comfortable I like the cushiony feeling of the gel (also kinda cooling and soothing)it's not like walking on air but it stopped the nasty looking/cut up/bloody heels (no more blood stained shoes). The price here is pretty high I found them for $3.99 at my favorite "Bullseye" store. I will say they dont stay in place as well as I would like, but that means I can change them to different shoes; that way I dont have to spend too much money on multiple pairs. I thought the other reviewers idea of double-sided tape was a good one I will have to try that.

1Not worth the cheap price  May 10, 2011 By vilee
I didn't purchase mine on amazon, I got it at Safeway on the way to work (it was on sale for $5) and now I wish I had spent more money on a product that is more trusted. These are not my first pair of liners so I knew to press the liner tightly against the back of the heel to ensure it adhered. I also put the liner while sitting in my car and then drove to work for 30 minutes so they had time to stick properly without my feet rubbing against them when walking. That was not the case - just in the parking lot, one side came loose and fell out on the way into my building. I stopped to press the 2nd one against my heel just in case, and it did not seem loose at all. However, halfway through the day it became unstuck and kept sliding off and then under the bottom of my foot. Eventually I got so annoyed of readjusting the liner that I took it out. All in all, this was not worth even the $5 I paid for, what a waste of time and money! My recommendation - go with Dr. Scholls; also the gel type tends to be bumpy if your shoe is a little too big. I have found to work best are the foam liners, they mold to your foot more.

-side note, my new shoes were denim material but I don't know if that had an effect but I won't waste money to find out
