Not sure its necessary Jun 16, 2010 This came a week later than the stretcher, because it was from a different company. I wasn't sure it was needed, and still am not. We used the stretcher for a week first - now we have added the spray, but who knows if it really made a difference or not. I think if I had to do it again, I would only purchase this if I was trying to stretch very hard to stretch shoes.

Saved my feet May 20, 2010 I read through the reviews on this product before purchasing. They helped me narrow down my purchase from a boot stretcher and stretching spray to just the spray since I could always buy the stretcher later and try again. After trying the product I won't be needing that boot stretcher!
I've got a pair of medieval boots that were ordered online in the right size but have been too tight from day one. Since the leather was stiff I figured they'd soften with wear. The only thing that began to soften were my feet because the boots sure weren't breaking in. I was ready to give up and buy a larger pair but figured one last attempt would be better than spending a lot of money a second time.
I tried this spray the day it arrived. Following the instructions I sprayed it inside the boots in the places that needed to loosen up, pretty much the entire interior of the shoe. I put on a pair of socks that were slightly thicker than the thin linen pair I had been able to wear in them before. Even that was a huge success though the shoes were very tight still. After the spray dried I slipped them off, sprayed them again and layered on a second pair of socks. I needed the shoes to loosen enough that I can wear my wool hose in them. The second treatment gave me that space!
I wore the boots all day for the first time this past weekend and for the first time my feet were comfortable and my socks weren't pulled into the boot by simply walking. For the first time in more than a year I actually loved my boots.
The only part of the boots that didn't soften quite enough was the ankle section. It did soften but not quite enough to be truly comfortable attempting to drive in them but I'm going to give the spray another try on that section. This spray is excellent!

It works Apr 19, 2010 This stuff works. I had a similar product which I was running low on and you can't find it anymore. I think this actually works better than the one I had before. I use it on new shoes that just need that extra room before breaking in and I also use it on a couple of pairs of shoes that I had given up on by spraying them and then using a shoe stretcher in them.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010TN0UW/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title Jan 30, 2010 Well, I really didn't notice any difference with or without this product...if you have a good stretcher it will work just fine without this so don't waste your money buying this...
