Item is as described, but it's not the perfect lace Nov 23, 2009 The product is exactly as described, though the weaving was a bit off on one side, so one set of squares was slightly bigger than the other set (this was true on both laces). However the laces at .75" are a bit wide for shoes (even skateboard shoes) and the ends were difficult to poke through some lace holes. Shipping was ridiculously high, but my son was willingly to pay it. They could be offered in a 60" length for more versatility. I wouldn't purchase these again.

Checkered shoestrings Sep 12, 2009 They were cute, but the plastic around the end of the strings was to big to go thru the holes in our tennis shoes. We had to try to stretch the holes or make the ends smaller some way. These were ordered for our volleyball team at school.
