Fit better than Spenco and more cushioned Apr 08, 2010

I've put in close to 50 miles of running with these insoles and they've made longer runs possible for my knees/feet. I'm not a small guy (~200 lbs with very low arches) and these insoles give the right amount of support and cushioning, providing a lot of stability without sending my heels or arches screaming in pain. The gel insert in the heal makes a big difference compared to other insoles which often have very limited surface cushioning under the cloth liner.
The heel area of the insert is a bit narrower then the 3/4 Spenco model, fitting my New Balance MR769's perfectly where the Spenco's came in too wide. Luckily I had the luxury of trying them both at a store, but this is something to be aware of if you're ordering online for use with your athletic shoes.
I anticipate they'll last a long time, but even if they only last a year I've gotten my money's worth.
